Create a Flex Pass collection
A flex pass gives customers credits they can redeem for eligible event times. Use a collection to bring those events and pass prices together. For example, a two-credit pass could let customers choose evenings of music and poetry.
You need permission to manage collections and existing events with their event times and prices configured. An organization owner can complete this setup. See Create a general admission event if you need to prepare the events first.
Create the collection
- Open Collections and select Create Collection.
- Enter Collection Name, then select Create Draft Collection.
- In Overview, select Flex.
- Enter a Short Description and Full Description. Explain how many visits the pass includes and what customers can attend.
- Select Save. Wait for Overview saved.
The collection is still a draft. A saved description alone does not make a pass available for purchase.
Choose eligible events and event times
- Open Eligible Events.
- Choose the Tax configuration appropriate to this collection. Only event times with a compatible tax configuration can be included.
- Select the events you want to include. On a phone, open the button showing the number selected to reveal the event choices, then close that menu after choosing them.
- Review the selected events and their included event times.
- Select Save and wait for Eligible events saved.
Resolve any eligibility warnings before continuing. Do not change a tax configuration simply to remove a warning; check it with the person responsible for your organization's tax settings.
To revise an existing collection, see Change a collection's eligible events, including what happens to passes already sold.
Add and enable a pass option
- Open Pass Options & Pricing, then New Pass Option.
- Enter a Display label (optional) that customers will recognize, such as “Two-Evening Pass.”
- Enter the number of Credits, such as
2. - Enter the pass price for each offered category and price tier. In this
example, the two-credit pass costs
36.00. - Select Create Pass Option.
- Return to Pass Options if the individual option editor is open.
- Open the option's actions menu and select Enable.
After enabling the option, its actions menu offers Disable. Reload and check the option before publishing.
To add a banner and listing artwork, change the images in Branding.
If pass fees should differ from your organization defaults, set a collection fee override.
Publish and review the public offer
Select Publish Collection; on a phone, open Page actions to find it. Wait for Collection published.
Open the collection's public page and select Configure Passes. Choose Flex Pass, then the pass option you created. Check the credit count and price shown to customers.
After purchase, customers choose eligible event times through their wallet. Share Redeem a flex pass when they need help using their credits.
To revise the wording later, update the collection's name and description.
If the expected pass is missing
Check that Flex is selected and saved, the collection is published, and the pass option is enabled. Also review Eligible Events and the option's prices. If a warning remains, include the collection name and exact message when contacting support.
Before publishing, you can preview the saved draft listing.
