Overview

An organization brings your event program, customer bookings, staff access, and public identity together. Its settings affect the team and the customer experience, while personal account settings apply to an individual staff member.

Check which organization you are working in before changing details or access, especially if your account belongs to several teams.

Organization settings

Public details help customers recognize the event organizer and find the right contact. The organization's contact email also has its own verification step; entering a replacement address is not the same as verifying it.

Organization notification defaults set the team's starting preferences. Personal notification choices are managed separately under Your account. Keep both in mind when reviewing who expects to receive updates.

Team access

Each colleague should use their own account and receive a role suited to their work. Roles distinguish organization management, operational tasks such as selling and check-in, and report viewing. A role name alone may not describe all its permissions: compare staff roles before sending an invitation or changing access.

Review membership when responsibilities change. Temporary event-day help may be better served by event-time-specific check-in access than ongoing membership. Device pairing and operator PIN settings are additional controls, explained in Check-in & devices.

Website & email

Customers can reach your ticketing through public Eventyr pages or ticketing embedded in your own website. Embed appearance settings control how the embedded experience is presented. Custom domains provide branded ticketing and email addresses and require access to the relevant domain's DNS settings.

Choose the public route customers should use, then review the actual page or embed before sharing it. Website and email domain setup is separate from updating a staff member's profile or sign-in details.
