Add a Series Pass

A series option groups specific event times for customers to choose together. For example, a music series covering three event times can use a compatible three-credit pass option.

You need permission to manage collections, a collection with eligible event times, and a priced, enabled pass option. An organization owner can complete these steps. If you are starting a collection, first follow Create a Flex Pass collection to prepare its events and pass pricing.

Enable series passes​

  1. Open the collection's Overview.
  2. Select Series. You can keep Flex selected if you want to offer both.
  3. Select Save and wait for Overview saved.

Enabling Series alone does not create a purchasable series. You also need an enabled, compatible series option.

Create the series option​

  1. Open Series Options, then New Series Option.
  2. Enter Name, such as “Autumn Music and Songwriting.”
  3. Add Pattern (optional) to describe the schedule, such as “Three weekly evenings.”
  4. Select the event times that belong together.
  5. Review Compatible pass options. For a series covering three event times, check that the intended three-credit option appears.
  6. Select Create Series Option.
  7. If the individual editor is open, use Series Options to return to the list. Open the new option's actions menu and select Enable.

The actions menu now offers Disable. Reload the list to check that the saved series remains available.

Check the customer choices​

For a published collection, open its public page and select Configure Passes. Choose Series Pass, the pass option, and the named series. Review the event times, then select Continue to choose passes.

Increase the quantity for the desired admission category and check the price. For example, one Three-Visit Pass for the series of three event times shows $60.00 when that is its configured price.

If the series does not appear​

Check that Series is enabled in Overview and that the individual series option is also enabled. Review Compatible pass options and the collection's eligible event times. The editor also notes that reserved-seat series must use the same seating configuration throughout.

If you cannot resolve a compatibility message, include the collection, series name, and exact message when contacting support.
