Apply a platform fee promotion

Use Settings → Platform fees to review the fee structure assigned to your organization. Applying a coupon requires permission to manage billing, such as an owner or administrator account.

A platform fee coupon changes your organization's fee assignment. Customer ticket discounts are managed separately under event promos or pass promos.

Review before applying​

  1. Check Current fee structure and the rate displayed beneath it.
  2. Under Platform fee promotion, select Enter coupon code. If a coupon is already assigned, select Replace coupon.
  3. Enter the Platform fee promotion code you received and select Preview.
  4. In Apply platform fee promotion?, compare Current and New. Check the full rate, including any reduced-price ticket terms, as well as the coupon, start date, and expiry.
  5. Select Cancel if you do not want to make the change. Previewing and canceling leave the existing assignment in place.

Use the amounts and dates shown for your organization; codes can have different terms and availability.

Apply and check the result​

  1. In the review dialog, select Apply coupon.
  2. Wait for “Platform fee promotion applied.”
  3. Reload Platform fees. Check the assigned structure, applied code, Started, and Expiration details.
  4. Check your confirmation email for the applied coupon, structure, and rate.

To apply a different available coupon, use Replace coupon and review the new terms before confirming. Applying a coupon does not rewrite an existing customer order or its tickets.

The Platform fee passthrough section shows who pays the fee. Follow Change setting to choose whether your organization absorbs it or passes it on to customers.

If a code is unavailable​

“Code is invalid or no longer available.” means the code cannot be previewed. Close the notification, check the code you received, and correct any typing mistake. An unavailable code leaves the current assignment unchanged.

If the code or saved result still looks wrong, include your organization name, the code, and the exact message when contacting support.
