Organization setup checklist

After creating an organization, Getting Started helps its owner review what remains before launch. You can return through the sidebar; on a phone, open the sidebar from the page header first.

Review the three groups​

  • Required setup covers the organization contact email and payment processing. Verify the contact email using the message sent to that address. Set up payments opens payment setup; creating an Eventyr organization does not complete it.
  • Launch your first event links to Create venue, Create event, and Review events. Follow the guides to create a venue and create an event.
  • Optional next steps includes seat maps, pass collections, and in-person payments. Use Open venues for reserved seating or Create collection for passes when those fit your events.

Understand a blocked step​

Select the information button beside Blocked to read the missing prerequisites. Publish an event can list contact-email verification, payment processing, a venue, or an event as unfinished.

Complete the relevant task, then return to or reload Getting Started. For example, after following the contact-email verification link, the page shows Contact email verified and no longer lists that verification as a missing publishing prerequisite.

In-person payment setup requires payment processing first. Its blocked-step message explains that prerequisite; selecting other setup links does not complete it.

Continue managing your organization​

Select Go to dashboard to open the organization dashboard. If you no longer need the checklist in your sidebar, you can hide Getting Started and restore it later.

If a completed step still appears unfinished after reloading, check that you are in the correct organization. For other problems, contact support with the step and message shown.
