Managing event visibility
Use the Events list to manage an event's publication and organize events you have finished using. You need permission to manage events.
Unpublish or republish
- Open Events and find the event.
- Open its three-dot actions menu and select Unpublish.
- Wait for Event unpublished. The event becomes a draft.
To publish again, open the same menu and select Publish. Wait for Event published. If publication is unavailable, review the message and complete the required setup before continuing.
Prepare an event for archiving
Every event time must be completed or canceled before the event can be archived. If any are still active, Eventyr shows a message explaining this requirement.
For an event time that has ended:
- Open the event and select Event Times.
- Open that event time's three-dot actions menu.
- Select Mark Completed.
- Read Mark event time completed? and confirm Mark completed only after checking that the event time has ended.
- Check that its card shows Completed.
Repeat for any other event times that have ended. If an event time will not take place, cancel the event time and follow up with customers before archiving the event.
Archive or delete from the list
Return to Events, open the event's actions menu, and select Archive. For an event without booking or pass history, the action may be Delete. Wait for the success message. The event leaves the Active list.
Existing ticket records remain attached to their event. Handle any necessary customer order changes separately.
Find and restore an event
- Open the status filter beside Search events.... On a phone, it appears as a filter icon.
- Choose Archived or Deleted, matching the action you took. Use All Statuses to search across both visible and hidden events.
- Find the event, open its actions menu, and select Restore.
- Switch the filter to Active and check that the event is back.
Restored events are drafts. Review the event and its event time settings before publishing again.
If an event seems missing, clear the search text and check the status filter. Include the event name, its last known status, and the exact message when contacting support.
