Set ticket sales dates

Use an event time's Sales Window to set when customers can make new ticket selections for that event time. You need permission to manage events.

Set fixed opening and closing dates

  1. Open Events, select the event, and open Event Times.
  2. Select the event time to open Edit Event Time.
  3. Find Sales Window and select Override Event Defaults.
  4. Under Sales Open, choose Fixed date and time. Enter both the date and time when bookings should open.
  5. Under Sales Close, choose Fixed date and time. Enter both the date and time when bookings should close. Check the displayed time zone.
  6. Select Save Sales Window.

If sales are currently open and your change would stop new bookings, review Stop online sales now?. The dialog explains the effect on existing selections. Select Confirm to apply the change.

Wait for Sales window updated., then reopen the editor to check the saved opening and closing dates.

Open immediately and close relative to the event time

With Override Event Defaults selected, choose Immediately under Sales Open to remove a fixed opening date.

For Sales Close, choose Relative to event time. Enter the Offset in days, hours, and minutes, then choose before event time or after event time under Direction. For example, an offset of 00d 01h 00m with before event time closes new selections one hour before the event time starts.

Select Save Sales Window, review any confirmation, and check the saved offset and direction after reopening the editor.

Return to the event's default sales window

Clear Override Event Defaults, select Save Sales Window, and wait for the success message. Reopen the editor and check that the override is cleared. The event time uses the event's sales settings again.

If you need to change when the event time itself takes place, use Schedule instead. If saving fails, include the event time, opening and closing dates, time zone, and exact message when contacting support.
