Delete your account

Account deletion permanently removes your access to Eventyr. Before deleting an owner account, decide who will look after each organization you own.

Review and cancel​

  1. Open the sidebar’s user menu, select User Settings, then select Security & Privacy. On a phone, open the sidebar first.
  2. Select Review account deletion.
  3. Read Deletion review, including the effect on each organization.
  4. Select Cancel if you are not ready. Reviewing or canceling does not delete your account.

For an organization where you are a staff member, the review explains that your membership will be removed. The organization and its other members can continue working.

Arrange ownership​

For each organization that needs an ownership decision:

  1. Choose Transfer ownership to keep the organization operating.
  2. Select the new owner from the available members.
  3. Check that you selected the intended person for each organization.

If the person is missing, cancel the review and check their team membership before continuing. The deletion button stays unavailable until all required decisions are complete.

Transferring ownership keeps the organization's events and customer tickets with the organization. Deleting your personal account does not erase those business records.

Close an organization instead​

If Close organization is offered and you intend to stop that organization operating, read its warning before selecting it. Closure stops public access. Its slug or subdomain remains reserved and cannot be used again.

You can make different decisions for different organizations: transfer one to another owner and close another. Resolve outstanding event and customer arrangements before choosing closure. If you are unsure which choice fits, contact support before deleting your account.

Confirm deletion​

Review every decision, then select Delete account only when you are ready to proceed permanently. Eventyr signs you out and returns you to the sign-in page. Your organization memberships are removed; a successor owner can continue managing an organization you transferred to them.
