Renaming or Archiving

Use SettingsPricing Catalog to manage shared names. Pricing Categories identifies ticket categories, such as General Admission. Price Tiers identifies choices within pricing, such as Adult. The same name can appear in both sections, so check which section you are changing.

You need permission to manage the organization's pricing catalog.

Rename a category or tier

  1. Find the label in Pricing Categories or Price Tiers.
  2. Select its Rename button.
  3. Enter the new name in Definition name.
  4. Select Save, or Cancel to discard the edit.
  5. Reload the page and check the name. Review an affected event's public ticket choices before sharing the change with your team.

These are shared labels. Renaming one updates how it appears wherever it is used across events, pass options, and promotion targets. It does not change a ticket's price. For example, renaming General Admission to Community Seating and Adult to Standard leaves the existing $24 ticket price unchanged.

Archive a label you no longer use

Review the usage counts beneath the name. A label marked In active use has its Archive action disabled. Remove it from the active event or event-time pricing before trying to archive it.

For an unused label:

  1. Select Archive next to its name.
  2. Review the named confirmation. Cancel keeps the label available.
  3. Select Archive to confirm.
  4. Reload and check its Archived badge.

Archived labels stop appearing as choices when organizers set up new pricing. Existing pass options and promotions using them continue to work. Archiving a label does not cancel orders or refund tickets.

If a label's usage does not match what you expect, check the affected event and event time pricing, then contact support with the label name and whether it is a category or tier.
