Update organization details
Keep your public details useful for people planning to attend. An organization owner can update these settings.
Open General settings
Open Settings in the sidebar, then select General. On a phone, open the sidebar using the icon in the page header first.
Organization Identity and Organization Details have separate save buttons. Save the section you changed before leaving the page.
Change the organization name
Under Organization Identity, edit Organization Name, then select Save identity. Wait for “Organization identity saved.”
The name cannot be blank. If you see “Organization name is required.”, enter the name and save again.
Update the description, website, or address
Under Organization Details:
- Write a useful Description of your organization and the events you offer.
- Enter your public Website address, including
https://. - If you provide a Public mailing address, complete Address line 1, City, State or region, ZIP or postal code, and Country. Address line 2 (optional) can hold a suite or unit.
- Select Save details and wait for “Organization details saved.”
The mailing address is visible to customers. Use the address your organization intends to make public.
If you see “Complete every required mailing address field or leave it blank.”, finish the missing fields or clear the address before saving. A partly entered address is not saved.
Handle unsaved changes
If you select another page while edits are unsaved, Discard changes? asks how to continue:
- Stay here keeps you on the page so you can finish and save.
- Discard changes leaves the page and drops the unsaved edits.
After discarding, reopening the page shows the last saved values.
Check what customers see
Open your organization's public site. Check the organization name in the header and the About information, including the description, mailing address, and website link. On a phone, the About section appears below the event listings.
If a save fails, read the message and keep your edits available while resolving it. Ask your organization administrator for help, or include the organization name and exact message when contacting support.
For the organization contact address, see Verify your organization contact email.
