Team notification defaults
An organization owner can choose notification defaults for new team members. Each person can override these defaults in their own notification settings.
Choose the recipients
| Notification | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Order Confirmations | New-order email notifications |
| Daily Summary | Daily sales and attendance summaries |
| Weekly Reports | Weekly financial and attendance reports |
- Open Settings in the sidebar, then select Notifications. On a phone, open the sidebar from the page header first.
- Find the notification you want to configure.
- Open the role-count button beside or below that notification, such as 2 role(s).
- Check the roles that should receive it by default. Uncheck roles you want to remove, then close the menu.
- Repeat for the other notification types as needed.
- Select Save notifications and wait for “Notification settings saved.”
For example, select Owner and Customer Service for order confirmations when those roles handle booking questions. The count becomes 2 role(s).
Turn off a notification default
Uncheck every role for that notification. Its count becomes 0 role(s). Select Save notifications to save the change.
This changes the default for that notification type. The other notification types keep their own role selections.
Check the saved settings
Reload Notifications and check the counts. Open a role menu to confirm the individual selections, especially when replacing one role with another and the total count stays the same.
If a person receives different notifications than expected, review their own notification preferences as well as the organization defaults. If saving fails, read the message and ask your organization administrator for help. Include the notification type and exact message when contacting support.
