Overview

A ticket gives you admission to a particular event time. Before booking, check which event, date, time, and venue you are choosing.

Events and event times​

An event is the listing you browse, such as a concert or a theatre production. An event time is a particular date and time for that event. One event can have several event times, with different availability at each event time.

Booking one event time does not give you admission to every date on the listing. Check the time and venue on your selection and confirmation.

General admission and reserved seating​

  • General admission: choose the number of tickets and their price tiers. You do not choose individual seat locations during booking. Follow the organizer's description for seating or standing arrangements.
  • Reserved seating: choose available seats on a map. Your tickets identify the seat locations you booked.

A price tier, such as Adult or Student, determines the price and may have eligibility requirements. Some tiers let you choose an amount above a minimum. Free tickets still require a completed booking when the organizer uses ticketing.

Tickets, orders, and passes​

An order records a booking and can contain multiple tickets. Choosing tickets is not enough: finish checkout and wait for the order confirmation.

A pass can cover several event times. Compare pass types if you plan to attend more than one event time.
